For my german and english friends this little story in English.
Maybe some of you know and some don't.
The last three months I have been traveling the world with my best friend Tom.
Our trip started in Buenos Aires Argentina, from there we traveled through all kind of small towns and we ended up at the end of the world called Ushuaia, but we wanted more!
Antarctica was our destination!
This place is placed on my leg so I never will forget this unbelievable adventure.
An adventure I could not experience, the way I did, without Tom.
From there we went to Uruguay riding horses and like my previous encounters with horses I fell off, while Tom rode the horse like a madman.
I got back on the horse and enjoyed the life style as a real Gaucho.
We got back to Iguazu Argentina to see the wonders of the waterfalls together with new made friends and Tom's girlfriend Mhairi.
Us 3 traveled for two weeks and ended up in a small place Salta. There I met a girl named Veronica who stole a piece of my heart.
Time is too short when you meet new friends.
Then we came back in Buenos Aires, a city I started to love. Bussy streets, kind people and old architecture made it fun to strole arround.
Then....... Something got into my mind! A thought I had before I left home to travel the world with Tom.
Canada, Vancouver BC British Colombia. I just love the sound of that name!
I knew time of traveling with a backpack through South America was over for me. My wish after 11 years came back.
I wanted to go back to my favorite city in the world and my family living there.
It took me a nights sleep to decide. The decision took away my restless feeling.
I talked to Tom, because I knew our ways, after 3 months of traveling, would split. He, as a good friend, understand right away my feeling and supported me knowing he would be "alone" for the rest of his trip.
Now, 11 years after my last, fifth visit, I am back in Surrey Vancouver. Staying at my cousine's house!
Its cold, but the sun is shining and I am enjoying every second of it.

Beyond all country's and continents..you are my friend. I'm still in LA for a few hours and then..I'm off to Vanuatu in the pacific. I say to you, safe travels as well and a very happy and pleasant stay with your family. I'm going to look out for a new cook ha, ha
